Climbing activities in the area in the summer 2000

Ketil:

• A 2 person french team made a new route after 10 days of climbing

Nalumasortoq:

• A polish team made a new route. The climb was filmed by polish TV4 and will be transmitted by satellite. (Link comes later, probably medio september)
• 2 japanese were seen on a new line

Ulamertorssuaq:

• 2 slovaks made Geneva Diedre
• 2 swedish made War and Poetry
• 3 polish made a 24h speed climb of Moby Dick
• 2 polish made a 15h speed climb of War and Poetry
• 2 canadians made a new route on an unclimbed face of Ulamertorssuaq in a 14 days capsule style. More info and video. (Link probably ready by the end of september 2000)
• Our danish/norwegian/german 4 person team made the new route Piteraq (VI, 5.9, A3)
• Our danish/german 2 person team made a 7 pitch sport climb on the pyramid of Ulamertorssuaq
